  • A slender pinch-waisted case, elaborate pierced wood detailing on the bonnet hood and judicious use of mahogany ribbon strip veneers on a background of deep mahogany place the Simon Willard in the notable clockmaking era of 1780 through 1800

  • Hand painted dial.
  • Delicate band of inlaid maple on the top door.
  • A gleam of brass complements the hand-rubbed mellow patina of wood, with brass rods attached to top and middle columns, brass caps adorning top front and middle columns and brass ball finials crowning the hood.
